£10 scheme
Like many organisations, we too are having to face the financial impact of lockdown following the outbreak of COVID-19. With the Mandir closed to the public, we are no longer receiving donations, hall bookings are cancelled, as well as our usual method of celebrating festivals. We anticipate that social distancing rules will continue for months to come and hence it is likely that disruption to normal functioning could continue into 2021.
To sustain the Mandir during these uncertain times, we have started a £10 monthly standing order scheme for the coming 12 months. The Shree Krishna Mandir Management Committee would like to sincerely thank all Devotees who have already signed up to this scheme. Your support will ensure the Mandir continues to function with our Pujari performing daily Pujas to Bhagwan.
If you wish to support the Mandir, please set-up a monthly standing order of £10 (or an alternative amount), using the following bank details:
● Bank Account name: Shree Krishna Mandhata Mandal
● Account number: 59096934
● Sort code: 01-09-31
● Reference: Your name (for receipt)
Please choose a date of transfer that is most convenient for you. Once set-up, please email:
info@shreekrishnamandir.org to clarify the following details:
● Name of person donation is made in
● Address of donor
● Date of first donation
If you wish to pay by cash or cheque (payable to ‘Shree Krishna Temple’), please speak to a member of the Management Committee.
All donors will be recognised on our website and other Mandir announcements. Please inform us if you would like your donation to remain anonymous (gupt).
We understand that these are difficult and uncertain times. If you therefore are unable to continue your support, please let us know; we fully understand if you wish to cancel the standing order at any time.
Below is a list of our donors so far, to whom the Shree Krishna Mandir Management Committee are so thankful for supporting Shree Krishna Mandir during this difficult time. With the blessings of Bhagwan Shree Krishna and your unwavering support, there is no doubt that we will get through this lockdown and we look forward to seeing you once this crisis is over.
